WHERE there's a will, Liverpool's Impropriety have always found a way - even if it takes them a day and a half...The company kicks off its 10th Improvathon this weekend - and things are likely to get weird and wonderful. They'll be taking over a new venue, the Hope Street Theatre, for a non-stop 2018 minute (or 33.5-ish hours) entirely improvised play, with this year's theme, Where There's a Will...Our Impropriety chums will once again be joined by improvisers from pioneers of the Improvathon format Die-Nasty, as well as theatre companies including Showstoppers, Project Two and Austentatious.Live improvised music will accompany the onstage silliness, with previous years having seen collaborations with numerous local luminaries including members of Dogshow, Dead Hedge Trio, The Kazimier Krunk Band and Loveless. Those fancying a taster of what's happening can pop in to watch a single episode during the marathon weekend for just £6, with a weekend pass costing £30, allowing visitors to come and go throughout. The first episode starts at 1pm tomorrow (Saturday, October 27), and the show will then run continuously for 17 more episodes. Each episode is two hours long, beginning on the odd hours (1pm, 3pm, 5pm, etc) and  will go on until 10.38pm on Sunday (October 28).The premise for Where There's a Will centres around the passing of William Reading - the source of great sadness to his many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and second cousins twice removed. He left a huge legacy, the details of which will be revealed over the course of the weekend. All interested parties and possible beneficiaries are therefore requested to attend, as the Last Will and Testament of William Reading is revealed...Audiences are free to join the story at any point and to stay for as little or as long as they wish. Each episode begins with a “story so far” so newcomers can catch up on who's who and what's been going on.The always popular Children’s Episode takes place between 11am and 1pm on Sunday, and will be suitable for audiences of any age.Ticket links can be found at www.impropriety.co.uk, or buy on the door.
